Ricardo-AEA presenting at the Transportation Research Board 92nd Annual Meeting

Ricardo-AEA’s Transport Practice Director, Sujith Kollamthodi, will be presenting at the 92nd Annual Meeting of the Transport Research Board (TRB), which is being held from 13-17 January in Washington DC.

The TRB meeting is the largest annual transport conference in the US attracting over 11,000 transportation professional from around the world. The program will cover all transport modes and include more than 4,000 presentations in nearly 740 sessions and workshops addressing topics of interest to all attendees – policy makers, administrators, practitioners, and representatives of governments, industry and academic institutions. More than 40 sessions and workshops will address the spotlight theme for 2013: Deploying Transportation Research – Doing Things Smarter, Better, Faster.

Sujith will be giving two presentations on the following topics:

  • Carbon trading in maritime transportation and other modes (Sunday 13 January)
  • European approaches to Transport Data Collection and Analysis for Strategic Policy and Impact Evaluation (Wednesday 16 January)

 

Sujith is has 16 years’ experience of working on transport-related issues and leading high profile transport studies. He has an extensive track record in carrying out work for governments and private sector, with expertise in transport emissions, low carbon vehicle technologies, alternative fuels, and environmental economics across all modes of transport.
