

Geoff Dollard is a world-renowned expert in the field of air quality, with over 20 years experience in directing ground-breaking scientific research projects and managing major research programmes. Geoff is particularly respected for his unrivalled technical knowledge in the area of the behaviour and transport of air pollutants and their deposition and impacts.
The programmes Geoff has directed and managed during his distinguished career with AEA have included the development of the national pollution monitoring networks, national pollution emissions inventories, the national air quality archive and the provision of critical technical policy support to Defra in its development of the UK Air Quality Strategy. Geoff's reputation has earned him a key role as an assessor for the nationally renowned BCE Environmental Awards scheme.
Paul Willis is a Knowledge Leader in the Air Quality team at Ricardo-AEA, with nearly 20 years experience in this field. He has a background in atmospheric chemistry, and extensive knowledge of both air quality policy and the practical aspects of air quality monitoring, data analysis and reporting. He has a clear understanding of the need for the provision of timely and appropriate air quality information to the public, Government departments, local authorities and other interested parties. Paul provides technical input for, and also oversees many projects in the ambient pollution monitoring area, including: QA/QC of the AURN, Ricardo-AEA Calibration Club and Local Authority Support Helpdesks.
