Greenhouse Gas Footprinting and Reporting Services
Ricardo-AEA is a leading expert in corporate footprinting and reporting. We have helped a large number of organisations to gather the data required to calculate and report their footprints through a variety of voluntary and mandatory reporting mechanisms including annual reporting, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) and the CRC Energy Efficiency Scheme.

Greenhouse Gas Assurance Services
Ricardo-AEA’s expertise includes an unrivalled understanding of GHG and carbon inventories gained through managing many unique projects, such as running the UK Government’s emissions inventory programme and deriving the UK’s GHG Conversion Factors since their inception. Our long track record of supporting governments enables us to offer independent and credible support to commercial organisations. Coupled with Ricardo-AEA’s expertise in emissions management and reporting, we are uniquely placed to deliver the assurance of GHG inventories and carbon footprints against a range of standards including ISO 14064-3 and AA1000 (AS).

AEA helps European cities to adapt to climate change
Since these articles were published, AEA Technology plc’s business, operating assets and employees were acquired on the 8 November 2012 by Ricardo plc and transferred to a new subsidiary, Ricardo-AEA Ltd. All employees were transferred to Ricardo-AEA Ltd as part of the acquisition and remain available for the execution of all projects via the new company, as are the entire capability and resources previously represented by AEA Technology plc. All individuals remained at previous locations with all offices being retained.

Helping you successfully comply with the CRC
Our support to CRC participant organisations ranges from compliance planning, data management, evidence pack management, audit, CRC submissions and CRC financial planning and regulatory risk management. In these areas we support our clients, helping them successful comply with the scheme and manage their carbon exposure.

Enterprise Sustainability at the Heart of Business
Almost all large organisations are putting sustainability at the heart of their business. Doing so calls for the integration of a wide range of strategic, communication and management skills, supported by technology. The rewards for success are great, and extend from reduced costs in business as usual, to enhanced brand equity, reputation with markets and investors, and push button compliance in a dynamic regulatory environment.
